DATES TRANFORMATION PLANT

The dates are transferred into the washer through the belt elevator.
The washing operation carried out, the dates move to the re-hydration tunnel and regain their natural consistency through steam jets.
At the end of the tunnel, a specific screw elevator transfers the dates to pit remover to separate the pulp from the pit adding a small quantity of water.
The pits are evacuated into a container while the pulp is transferred to the malaxers through a mono screw pump
The malaxers, equipped with a heating system, treat the product up to about 18-22 BRIX degrees by adding a small quantity of water.
After the necessary malaxing time, the product is pushed to the decanter for the first separation carried out by mono screw pumps.
The decanter provides to separate the juice from the rough solid part, part that is usually recycled for food and feed animal sectors.
The juice is conveyed to the final separator for further and final cleaning; it is therefore filtered to eliminate all possible pectins and residues before its introduction into the concentration system where it is concentrated up to a maximum of 70-73 BRIX degrees, through the vacuum and steam heating.
The concentration operation completed, the molasses is discharged, packed and stored.
The juice coming from the separator is stored into tanks and specific enzymes are added for clarification.

FORMA

The mills of the FORMA series for avocado are designed to process fruit bunches in continuous and discontinuous mode. The equipment is provided with a crusher, a malaxing group equipped with a single agitator, a decanter, a pump for the discharge of the waste and a heating group. The crusher has the function of transforming into paste the fruit previously peeled, depitted and cut into pieces. The paste thus goes to the malaxer; here by means of the heat group it reaches an optimum temperature for the extraction of the oil. After mixing, the transfer pump takes the paste to the decanter where the separation of the oil from the water takes place. The discharge pump placed at the end of the line of work, allows the evacuation of the waste through the discharge tubes.
